BTS: Not near public transport. A taxi from On Nut BTS took 30-40 minutes on the highway and cost 140 baht.

Price: 50 baht per hour including equipment hire, 100 baht for the whole day. If bringing your own equipment then the price is 50 baht for the whole day.

This new and unique addition to Bangkok’s sporting scene is a really fun work out and at a very cheap price. Whether you are an advanced rollerblader, or a beginner, we are sure you will thoroughly enjoy it.

 

The easiest way to find the roller dome is by taxi or with your own transport. Once on Thanon Phokeaw look out for the building and signs featured in the photo above.

The cost is 50 baht for an hour or 100 baht for ‘buffet’ – meaning roller blade all day. These prices include the hire of roller blades and padding and a 15 minute basic lesson on how to stand and handle the skates. Equipment is new and very comfortable.

 

The dome itself is large with a smooth concrete floor. You are free to roller blade at any speed around the outside in an anti-clockwise direction.

 

In the center of the circuit there is an area where you can practice moves, tricks (we even saw dancing!) between cones. There are also two goal posts which can be used for games such as roller hockey.

Should you want to take a rest, or observe the talented roller bladers, there is plenty of seating provided. Drinks and snacks are also sold at the venue.

We had a great time learning to roller blade, and even better time watching the talented experts showing off their moves.
