Big knit cafe is a homely and cosy cafe, perfect for a relaxed and craft filled afternoon.  The cafe is suited for both experienced knitters and those who have never tried.

Around the cafe there are plenty of knitted gems as inspiration of what you might like to make, as well as books and magazines to flick through.

The cafe sells an extensive array of yarn, material, needles and other tools to meet your knitting dreams. Staff are on hand to best advise which would be most suitable for your desired project.

It is clear that there are plenty of regular customers who come along to knit and know what they are doing, but you can also come along if you have never knitted before. The staff are extremely helpful and offer lessons for free (you just need to pay for the materials you use). If you have never knitted before, be aware it is very time consuming and it is advised that you don’t try to finish your project in one sitting (like we did…)!

Drinks and food are also served, but the knitting, helpful staff and atmosphere is definitely the main draw to Big Knit Cafe.
