Located on the outskirts of Bangkok, Forest in the city has been created by PTT oil and gas in hope of adding a bit of greenery to city life – and it definitely does what it has set out to do.
Although relatively small, entrance is free and the architecture behind the project is very interesting.
There is a sky walk around the park, not only allowing for an interesting perspective but also ensuring that the native plant species below remain undamaged.
An observation platform reaching a height of 23 metres allows you to see the park, and parts of Bangkok from above.
There is also a visitor center, but the information is all in Thai.
Although a bit of a trek, if you would like to add some greenery to your urban life style it is worth paying a visit to the Forest in the Park.
