Newly opened in April 2016 and, centrally located near Lumphini park, Chang brings you Chang Global Carnival; a new theme park for adrenaline seekers.

It may not be the largest theme park you have ever visited, but it does contain some fear inducing rides. There’s a roller coaster including an upside down loop, several spinning rides at high speed, and G-force which sends you 40m into the air upside down.

For the younger (or more safety conscious) there are also several ‘family rides’ which involve a lot less height and lot more comfort. These include a ghost train, pirate ship, water ride along with tamer roller coasters.

Food and drinks are also available within the park, but were pretty limited during the week. We were told on weekends there are more food stalls readily available.

There are several stalls where you can try your luck to win large cuddly toys. We tried hard, but failed to succeed!

You pay 90 baht to enter the park and receive a wrist band. After that, your wrist band works on a top up basis where you pay per ride. Ride prices are clearly displayed before every ride and at all top up counters. Deals to go on several rides are also available. Please note, refunds are not given on any credit remaining on your wrist band.

We had a great evening, especially during the week when there were no queues!
