Dog in Town is the perfect place for those who want a dog but for one reason or another can’t have one. It’s a cafe full of fluffy dogs you can pet, stroke and play with but return to the owner once you get bored.
Located behind Big C on Ekkamai road, Dog in Town is both an animal cafe and dog hotel. It has a large garden space at the front and the dogs are free to wonder in and out of the cafe as they please.
When we visited there were 4 husky dogs but the owner told us they have other dogs too. The dogs are incredibly friendly and spend most of their time lying on the tiles waiting to be stroked and rubbed.
The cafe itself is very clean and modern with wooden tables, tile floors and green plants. There are plenty of places to sit but you will probably find yourself drawn to the floor space where the dogs can be found. Walls are decorated with dog related quotes.
The cafe serves a variety of food, coffees, teas and desserts. They also serve italian sodas, milkshakes, mocktails and beer. The food is mainly western including french fries, cheese balls, spaghetti, salads and a variety of burgers. We didn’t get to sample the food but plenty of people appeared to be enjoying it.
We think Dog in Town is a great addition to the ever growing list of animals cafes in Bangkok and recommend a visit.
