Chocolate Ville is worth a visit, with its great food, relaxing atmosphere and fantastic photo opportunities. It resembles a European town and provides a dining in the park experience. Unfortunately when we visited it was raining, but despite the horrible weather, it was an extremely pleasant evening. We believe if we visited on a sunny day it would remind us of sitting in a beer garden during the British summer.
Within the complex you can find a lake, ducks, pubs, a wine cellar, a chapel, a barn, a lighthouse and pavilion. You can take a stroll around the park admiring the sights before settling on a place to eat. The views are picturesque by both day and night, and you can even climb to the top of the light house for a birds eye view of Chocolate Ville.
In true Thai style, Chocolate Ville is not short on places to stand and pose for a photo or two…
Although there are many areas to choose from where you can sit and eat, all the food comes from one kitchen and one menu. However, this does not limit your choice. The menu is extensive and food was quick to arrive. Only a small selection of the menu and dining areas are shown below.
Due to its popularity, we suggest you make a reservation. When we visited on a rainy day the place was still busy.
Located on the outskirts on Bangkok, it is a little difficult to get to, but once there you won’t regret it. Print of the map below and hand over to a taxi driver for convenience. When trying to return to central Bangkok after a wonderful evening, there were many taxis in the car park but they wouldn’t take us on the meter. The staff at Chocolate Ville were extremely helpful and friendly and flagged a taxi down for us. It should cost you no more than 150 – 200 baht to central Bangkok.
