Located on the 48th floor of the Marriott Hotel, this sky bar gives you an unobstructed 360° view of Bangkok. Unlike many other sky bars in Bangkok, there is nothing pretentious about it. It is comfortable and relaxing, with friendly staff and chilled out customers. The DJ plays music that fits the relaxed atmosphere perfectly, and the lit up bar sets the mood. Currently, it is our favourite sky bar in Bangkok.

Views by evening, sunset and night are incredible. There are tall tables to stand at for a quick drink, or comfy seats and tables to sit at for longer. However, these do appear to get snapped up quickly, especially around sunset.

Drinks are well made, and the drinks deals ensure they are well priced, especially for a sky bar. The 241 between 5-7pm on the cocktails on the picture below, is an excellent deal.  Despite the laid back atmosphere and dress code (shorts allowed for men) the quality of service is high.  Staff volunteer to take photos, ensure you don’t go thirsty and we even found that when we knocked over a glass of wine accidentally it was replaced free of charge.

They also serve food, but we haven’t yet eaten there. There are two more floors to the bar, but the best is definitely the rooftop. The only downside is, that if it rains, there is nowhere to hide!
